September 2, 2010 – Light Trail Trial

Posted in Snapshot365 with tags , , , , , , , on September 2, 2010 by AZSalsman

September 2, 2010I thought I would experiment with some light trails on the side of the freeway.  Unfortunately, I did not have my tripod so had to be creative to find a way to hold the camera steady through the multi-second exposure.  Also, did have  a great vantage point to compose and “interesting” setting. However, there is something mysterious in the red/orange glow.  I will have to try again soon – with a tripod handy and a better vantage point.

Just trying a very high ISO setting.  Too grainy but, I suppose it has value.

March 28, 2010

Sitting, waiting for the meal to be served I saw the warm glow of the candle light.  With the table acting as a tripod, I let the camera do it’s thing.  I could not really view through the finder to compose the shot – I had to rely on my “best guess” both for exposure settings and composition.

But when is the food going to come…I wanna eat!
